Hi All! Another exciting weekend of world cup racing in Leogang Austria sees us score 3 podiums and with a little bit more luck we could have done even more! We are so stoked to see Tracey Hannah 2nd just 0.6s off the win, her best career results on the track in Austria and she is consolidating her leads in the overall ranking and holding tight on that #1 spot. Really happy too to see Mick Hannah finishing with a great 8th place even with a flat tire at the end of the track, we feel that without this misfortune Mick would have gained the few tenth of seconds that he missed to be on the podium. Nevertheless, it’s an amazing performance from Mick who is showing again that he is building up speed. Kenta Gallagher was back on track and still looking for confidence after his broken collarboneView More>>
Hello Everyone, What a day of racing ! The team wins continue and this time it comes from Tracey Hannah who wins her first world cup since her first race with us in 2012! Tracey also takes the lead in the world cup ranking while Polygon UR continues to lead the team world cup ranking. This amazing picture below is summarizing the feeling that we all got when we saw Tracey crossing the line in 1st place more than 10 seconds ahead of her closest competitor. It was a big relief for so many reasons ; first it was a relief because the renovated track at Fort William, Scotland has never been so difficult. The newest section in the woods were so slippery that during practice 50% of the riders men or women were crashing and some only making it through by putting their feet down. It was a relief tooView More>>
It has been an amazing weekend in Lourdes for the first round of the UCI World Cup. The first few days in Lourdes were very cold and some snow was seen at the top of the track on Wednesday. The track was dry though which we were very happy about. Coming into this race, Tracey felt pretty confident with a win in Crankworx Rotorua. Tracey was building her speed steadily during practice and qualified 4th at 3sec from the 1st place. She knew everything was possible. On the morning of finals, she worked hard on the track changing some lines and taking more risk. Her race run went smooth, she felt confident, kept her focus and went faster towards the end of her run with the fastest split at the bottom section! Tracey finished 2nd with just 2.5 seconds behind the fastest time. This is a great wayView More>>
After narrowly missing the win in 2016, Nicholi Rogatkin absolutely smashed the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle contest leaving no doubt as to who the top rider is. Nicholi lead a possible changing of the gaurd in 2017 with Emil Johansson and Torquato Testa rounding out the podium ahead of the usual heros like Brandon Semenuk and Anthony Messere.
Sam Reynolds continues to show what the VP-Harriers can do at Dark Fest.
The first round of the Enduro World Series is here in the deep fern jungle of Rotorua, New Zealand. Enjoy the preview of VP rider and Polygon UR team member Fabien Cousinie taking you down all 7 stages. The rain has made the tracks super slippery and very technical, it will be a tough and long one!
Nicholi Rogatkin just returned from a successful trip to England where he opened his win account in the 2017 FMB at Air to the Throne. The riding level at the event was crazy, check out the full recap!
Hello Everyone, The Fernhill Frenzy mass start marks the opening of the summer and it is one wild ride! Come on-board the super slippery single track with Tracey Hannah and Fabien Cousinié. All the UR team want to wish you a Happy New Year! May it be filled with success, adventure and good riding. Queenstown, New Zealand, is an amazing place for riding with one of the best bike parks in the world: Skyline MTB. What makes it even better is all the riders who live in this mountain biking paradise.
Nicholi Rogatkin had his best year ever in 2016. He finished the year as the world’s top ranked rider in the FMB World Standings, and took home the ultra-elite FMB Diamond Tour crown as well. VP congratulates you Nicholi as we look ahead to 2017!
