VP makes a wide range of products that require hundreds of parts and specifications. Some of our products are repairable, some are not. We do not have a formal spare parts or service program, though a few of the most commonly needed parts are available to our distributors if they choose to purchase them, and in turn supply VP dealers. However in reality few retailers stock VP-made spare parts.

For complete information, see the instructions that came with your VP pedals.
BEFORE USE: Consult a professional bicycle dealer if you have any questions about the set up, use, and maintenance of your pedals, cleats or cycling shoes.
Lubricate cleat bolts with grease prior to attaching cleats to shoes. This will help prevent rust and seizure.
A small amount of dry lubricant should be applied to the pedal binding springs.
If desired a small amount of light grease may be applied to the top of the rear bindings to aid smooth engagement.
MAINTENANCE: To function properly, pedal bindings and cleats must be kept clean and free of debris.
Bearings should be serviced* (cleaned and regreased) once a year. Pedals used high mileage riding, in off-road or wet conditions may need to be serviced more frequently.
Pedals should be serviced or replaced if:
a) a rotating pedal emits a noise b) rotation feels particularly rough c) there is play in the bearing mechanism
Pedals should be replaced if:
a) there are fractures in pedal body b) there are any damaged parts c) the bindings are badly worn
Replace cleats that are badly worn or difficult to engage or disengage. ONLY USE CLEATS THAT ARE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR VP PEDALS.
*Some VP pedals are equipped with cartridge mechanisms. To service, unscrew using Exus E-T03 socket with a standard socket wrench.
