Does VP sell direct to bicycle dealers or the public? |

We sell only through bicycle assemblers and companies that distribute our products to bicycle shops and other stores. If you cannot find our products, contact one of the companies on our Distributors page - they may be able to put you in touch with a retailer in your area.

I saw a product on your website but I cannot find it at my local bike shop. Why not? |
| |
Our website is 'global' in nature; meaning it includes nearly all the products that we sell worldwide. Some of our products are available in some markets but not others. This is simply due to local market requirements, not restrictions imposed by VP. Most retailers usually only stock a small selection of VP products, according to their own needs.

Is VP Components the same as Victor Pedals?
|
| |
Our original name was Victor Pedals but that was changed to VP Components in the early 1990s to better reflect the nature of our business (by that time we were making headsets and bottom brackets as well as pedals). VP is also our brand name, though some people continue to refer to us as Victor Pedals; but would you want to buy a Victor Pedal headset?

What are the VP Brands? |
| |
VP - Our main brand.
Modus - We used to sell bottom brackets and some headsets under the Modus name. In 2004 these products were rebadged as VP. The model numbers of Modus products have not changed; e.g. Modus MB-602 is the same product as VP MB-602.

Is Exus part of VP Components? |
| |
In 1993 VP created a high-end line called Exus. Later Exus became a separate corporate entity, Exus Enterprise, specialising in cycling shoes and pedals. In June 2002 VP decided to sell Exus in order to focus on our core business. That company is now known as Exustar and sells products under that name. VP retains the rights to the Exus name. Currently VP only sells a small number of products under the Exus label.
